The Fate or Not

It's a superfluous thought, that's why I can't stop thinking about it.
Does the fate exist?
Can we prove that it doesn't exist?
Yes.
If I wanted I could try to take the next plane to any far-off place right now.
So I would do something I wouldn't have done if I hadn't wanted to change my fate.
Can we prove that it does exist?
It was my fate to change my fate on purpose.

That was probably the first philosophical question I ever thought about. When I was about seven or eight years old, I always tried to find ways how to prove fate did or did not exist. And your way was the same thing I thought of: leave. Leave everything behind, to escape fate. But then again, it would be my fate to run away.

You can't prove fate, you can only believe in it. And that's what I do.
